Founded during the 12th-century as a home for Augustinian monks, Venzano overlooks Volterra
to the north and miles of uninterrupted, classic Tuscan hills to the south. Just a mile from the picture-postcard village
of Mazzolla, it sits in splendid isolation, immersed in its gardens.
We started as a group of friends who
wanted to spend time together in a beautiful place. With architects and designers amongst us, we found Venzano, and
then hit on the idea of using the best materials to sensitively restore and share it with others.
The nine
luxurious 2- and 3-bedroom residences capture the magic of the tranquil setting. Interiors are being finished to the
highest level (nearly every bedroom with en-suite bath), and private gardens and terraces allow true indoor-outdoor
living.

Venzano simply overflows with its gardens. The life work of award-winning
landscape designer Donald Leevers, the topiary, herb and vegetable gardens establish Venzano's character, creating an
extraordinary year-round sensory experience. (We love its hidden corners, picking a succulent pomegranate, strolling
in the olive grove or drinking from the fresh, Etruscan-era spring.)
Other amenities will include a panoramic pool
and spa, indoor hamman bath, a subterranean cantina for residents' wine storage and private dinners, a restaurant-quality
owners' kitchen, and an original, frescoed chapel that is the monastery's meeting point and lounge.
A live-in
Gardener and Caretaker will ensure that life at Venzano has its own rythm. Your refrigerator is stocked and flowers
arranged before you arrive. Cappuccino is waiting for you each morning. Airport pickups are available, and Venzano
keeps its own bicycles and Vespas.
